The third set of locks has a new Center of Observation of the Expansion in Colon and has a park-like concept with terraces and open platforms, roofed and stepped, in a wide area which allows to appreciate an environment of admirable beauty surrounded by tropical nature, of the construction works of the new locks of the Panama Canal in the Atlantic. Also, from its privileged location, visitors can observe the majestic Gatun Lake, where ships continue their transit through the interoceanic route. Apart from being able to see a movie about the expansion, there are trails in the area that you can go to be in contact with nature. Come and experience it!
