Monkey Island
Only 45 minutes from Panama City, we will travel through the Soberania National Park until we reach the town of Gamboa and embark on a fast boat on the Chagres River and then through the Gatun Lake where we can approach large ships transiting through the Canal. Then we will come close to Monkey Island and appreciate the sight of Cariblanco (also known as Capuchin), Titi (also known as Tamarin) and Howler monkeys on the banks of unspoiled islands of this magnificent tropical rainforest. We can also see crocodiles, caimans, turtles, iguanas, toucans and other birds.
Departure from Panama City: 7:30 am
