Causeway of Amador
Perfect tourist place to walk, jog, and skate, ride a bike and enjoy the beautiful scenery with our friends or family. In addition you can enjoy elegant restaurants, shopping centers, convention center, yacht marina, and hotels near the Panama Canal, and an impressive nature that relaxes the senses. It has two mandatory stops: (1) Craft Market, where you can buy handicrafts made in Panama, and (2) Amphora Duty Free, where you can buy souvenirs, perfumes, sunglasses and brand watches, makeup for ladies, liquor, among other things. The Causeway of Amador has a marine exhibition center of the Smithsonian ‘Tropical Research Institute’, where you can see exotic species of marine life from both the Caribbean and the Pacific of Panama City. You can also enjoy a Biodiversity Museum (Bio-museum) designed by the Canadian architect Frank Gehry.
